Cags

Specialist kayak cags are the kayaker's equivalent to the hikers rain suit or windbreaker.

Cags that are designed specifically made with kayaking in mind, give paddlers freedom of movement and create an insulated dry layer blocking the paddler from the wind and other elements.

These specialist kayak garments are made from water resistant material such as Gore-Tex or urethane coated nylon.


 

As well as being good wind protection they also protect the paddler from rain and the regular splashing that kayakers are presented with. When combined with a thermal layer of clothing they can keep the kayaker both warm and dry.
